SCH Administration
Scott E. Miller, Superintendent of Schools
Getting to Know Scott Miller
Scott Believes:
That all Hammond students, regardless of their race, ethnicity, ability, primary language, gender, citizenship status, sexuality, or faith, deserve a world-class education that addresses their individual needs, while also providing opportunities to develop their gifts.
That School City of Hammond has great teachers, administrators, and staff who love the Hammond community and personally sacrifice much of their time, energy, and resources to see it be successful.
That for School City of Hammond to be its best, we must significantly involve our parents, our community partners, our business partners and the Civil City of Hammond.
That one of the primary roles of the Superintendent is to be the advocate for Hammond children, both locally and in Indianapolis.
That when a student graduates from Hammond schools, they should be absolutely prepared for their next step, whether it be a 4-year university, a skilled apprenticeship, the military, a 2-year college, or the world of work.
